Restaurants In Bali

Where do we start? There is an endless array of restaurants in Bali with new ones opening every day.

Most hotels have their own restaurants but if you want wider choice and usually better prices you are advised to get out onto the streets.

Prices are generally excellent and as a rule of thumb about a quarter of the price you would expect in Britain or Australia. You can eat for a week for the price of a fancy meal in London.

It is even cheaper if you eat at one of the many local warungs (restaurants) where a fried rice with all the trimmings will set you back as little as Rupiah12,000 (Aus$2 or 70 pence).

You can eat Indonesian, English, Irish, Australian, French, German, lots of Italian, Thai, Greek, Indian, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Mexican, ...... even Russian!

The street best known for restaurants must be Jalan Luksmana in Seminyak where the trendy set hang out.

There are seafood restaurants on the beach at Jimbaran and watch the sun go down.

The most expensive restaurant on the Island is probably Ku De Ta near the Oberoi Hotel in Seminyak.

Indian
The Clay Oven, Jalan Tamblingan, Sanur.
Gateway to India, Jalan Dayna Pura, Seminyak
