Car Hire
Car Hire is straightforward in bali. Here people drive on the left hand side of the road. Read our notes on driving first.
You will need an international driving permit. Hire rates include insurance.
Petrol costs about Aus 70c per litre or £1.10 per gallon.

Suzuki Katana |
Bali's most popular car the Katana is a small two wheel drive, manual gearbox car with five forward gears. Two door, four seats a bit cramped in the back for four european adults and the suspension is a little hard. Small and nippy and very suitable for Bali it is also very light on fuel. Air conditioned. |

Toyota Kijang |
Medium sized two wheel drive station waggon, manual gearbox with five forward gears. Four door, eight seater. Very good suspension and ride, power steering, gearchange smooth and an easy car to drive. Very reasonable on petrol. Air conditioned. |

Isuzu Panther |
Medium sized two wheel drive station waggon, manual gearbox with five forward gears. Four door, eight seater. Good suspension and ride, power steering, gearchange smooth and an easy car to drive but a little heavier than the Kijang. Deisel engine and so very low fuel costs. Air conditioned. |
